A little about me:
My name is Janelle Sparger and I am the owner of The Eyebrow Room LLC. I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2004, and I am so pleased to be offering microblading to Sandusky and the surrounding area. My 18 years in the beauty industry has given me an advantage in this semi-permanent service, with expert knowledge in color theory and now twice trained in mapping perfect brows for every face shape. While my career started with cosmetology, I’ve put it aside and completely immersed myself in microblading. The leap from the hair world into the microblading world has been huge, and I’ve taken it incredibly seriously. This is more than a haircut, it’s a semi-permanent tattoo on someone’s face, and I don't take that lightly for one moment. But all the hours of studying and practicing, training and researching has been worth every second; to see the tears when a cancer survivor has her eyebrows back, to get the email that I’ve changed someone’s life, to make people’s morning routine easier, to restore self confidence and a sense of “normal”, this microblading journey has been a wonderful blessing that I am privileged to be a part of.
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
If your eyebrows are thin or thinning, genetically uneven or mis-shapen, over plucked and just don't grow back anymore, or for any other reason that you need fullness and shape to your brows, microblading is just for you! But what exactly is it? Microblading is a luxury semi-permanent makeup service that creates realistic "hair" in the eyebrow. It is customized to every individual face, and creates fullness, definition, and balance to the eyebrows. While microblading is deemed "semi-permanent", it is still a tattoo. The term “semi-permanent” is used to describe microblading because yearly touch ups are recommended to keep your eyebrows fresh. Fading is a positive characteristic in microblading as it allows for updates in shape, color, and provides the ability to work with changes in aging skin. Final results after 6 week touch up lasts from 1-3 years depending on skin type.
